I do think modern comics has gone too far with this though. I've read scripts of the new, Brubaker Captain America, where he points artists to SPECIFIC Steranko pages and says "do that".

OMG, the Star Trek piece is by far the worst case of blatent copying i've seen, all the artist has done is change the heads!
that being said, the Obi Won image is fantastic
